    What are eStatements?
eStatements are an electronic delivery of your monthly or quarterly statements, which will take the place of your mailed paper statement.

How do I receive my eStatement?
When you sign up for eStatements you will have the option of two delivery methods:
    1. You will receive an email notification that your statement is available within Oneida Savings Internet Banking. Sign on to Oneida Savings and select the eStatement button. You will then be able to view the statement online. By selecting “Printable Version” you may print it at home, or save it to your hard drive.

    2. You will receive the statement as an attachment to your e-mail notification. The statement will be encrypted and you will need to enter a password to open it. You select your password when signing up for eStatements, and can change it at any time.

Is my eStatement secure and safe?
Yes, eStatements utilizes state-of-the-art encryption technology such as SSL (Secure Socket Layer) to protect the transmission of data to and from our users. SSL allows software to communicate with Web servers in a secure, encrypted manner. All user sessions employ a 128-bit global unique identifier (GUID). The eStatements server resides behind firewalls, which block unwanted access.

If you elect the option to receive your statement as an e-mail attachment, this is also encrypted and can only be opened with the password you have selected.

How much does receiving Oneida Savings eStatements cost?
There is no charge for Oneida Savings eStatement service.

Will I still receive my check copies with Oneida Savings eStatements?
You will be able to access images of your checks through Oneida Savings Internet banking site.

Will the statement cycle for eStatements be the same as it is for paper statements?
Yes, your statement cycle will continue to be the same, whether monthly or quarterly. Customers choosing eStatements eliminate the regular waiting period associated with postal delivery.

How do I sign up for eStatements?
To sign up for eStatements, simply sign in to Oneida Savings Internet Banking and select the eStatements icon at the top of the page. If you do not have a User ID for Internet Banking, visit our website at www.oneidabank.com and enroll today.

If I sign up for eStatements, will I continue to receive a statement copy via U.S. Mail?
No. Your choice of statement delivery (paper or eStatement) that is recorded on our system on the statement cycle date is the only method used to deliver that month's statement.

Will I be notified when my eStatement is available?
Yes, you will receive an email at the address you specify to advise you when your statement is available.

May I have my eStatement email notification sent to more than one email address?
No, we can only send your eStatement notification to one email address. However, a joint owner or signor, with a different Oneida Savings User ID, may also receive the statement electronically at their email address.

How do I notify the bank of my new email address?
When signed on to Oneida Savings Internet Banking, select the eStatement icon, then “Change Options” link. Simply change your e-mail address there and click “Continue” and your e-mail address is updated.

Will my eStatement be available online if for some reason I did not receive my email notification?
Your statement will be available to you online for one year. If your email notification was returned to us undeliverable, your current statement will still be available online. If an updated email address is not provided before the next statement cycle, your account(s) will automatically be converted back to a mailed paper statement.

What do I need to view my eStatement online?
You need only your Internet browser to view your statement online. If you receive it encrypted via e-mail, wish to print it or save it to your hard drive, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader.

What if I don’t have Adobe Acrobat Reader?
Adobe Acrobat Reader is free software that is available for download once logged into your eStatement account.

How do I print my eStatement?
By using the Adobe Acrobat Reader toolbar, press the printer icon. You can either print the entire statement or just a particular page.

How do I save my eStatement?
Again using the Adobe Acrobat Reader toolbar, press the diskette icon. You will then be asked where on your computer you would like to save it.

How many months of statements are available via eStatements?
Your statement will become available on the eStatement site incrementally each month after you enroll for the service. Statements will be available for twelve months. If you wish to retain them longer, you should save them sometime during the twelve month period. Please note: if you request an additional paper copy from the bank, applicable statement copy fees will be assessed per our current Schedule of Fees.

What should I use for a password?
You only need to select a password if you are opting to receive your eStatement as an e-mail attachment. For security reasons, we recommend that you choose a unique password. Mix letters with numbers and special characters to make it difficult for someone to guess. This password is for eStatements only and will not affect your Oneida Savings password.

How do I change my password?
From the eStatement sign-on screen, click the "Change Options" link. Enter new password twice, then click "Continue". If you receive eStatements for more than one account, this password will be the same for each.

What if I forgot my password?
Your password for eStatements emailed as an attachment is different from your Oneida Savings Internet Banking password. If you forget your eStatement password, sign in to Oneida Savings and select the eStatements' icon, then the “Change Options” link. You may then update your eStatements' password.

What if I want to cancel eStatements?
You can switch back to the paper version of your statement at any time.
