    Eric E. Stickels Receives Award



    Eric E. Stickels, EVP & CFO of Oneida Savings Bank and Board Member and Secretary of Madison Cortland ARC has received the BizEventz 2011 Non-Profit Award for Board Leadership. Stickels has served on the Madison Cortland ARC Board of Directors for more than 22 years and has served in every capacity including president.

    Under his leadership as president, he led the way for the merger between Madison County ARC and the Arc of Cortland County. “The goal of the ARC is to never return to days of isolation and institutional settings, rather to advocate and provide a community inclusive model for those most in need,” he said. In addition to serving on the Madison Cortland ARC Board of Directors, Eric serves on the Executive Committee of NYSARC and is a NYSARC Board of Governors.

    The ceremony was held in Syracuse, New York in late March.
